Law Clerk Kristina Dudits represents a distinct evolution in the composition of a modern legal team. While many enter the legal profession directly from academia, Kristina arrives with a formidable background in high-stakes commercial finance. Consequently, she views every personal injury case through a unique lens—not merely as a file, but as a claim with complex economic value that requires meticulous documentation and protection.
The work ethic driving Kristina is hereditary. The daughter of Russian immigrants, she grew up at the intersection of compassion and structure. She witnessed the physical toll of labor through her mother, a home health aide, and learned the importance of structural integrity from her father, an engineer. This dual upbringing forged her professional identity: the empathy to understand a victim’s pain, and the analytical mindset needed to support the dismantling of complex corporate defenses.
Before joining Pain Injury Law, Kristina served as a Vice President in the equipment finance sector, where she facilitated over $13 million in funded transactions. She mastered the art of risk assessment and leverage by analyzing complex deal terms and pricing structures. Recognizing that corporations navigate the legal system with rigorous business strategies while individuals often navigate it with only emotion, Kristina enrolled at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University to bring that same financial sophistication to the “little guy.”
At Pain Injury Law, Kristina serves as a Senior Tactical Analyst. She applies a “due diligence” framework to case management support, using the same precision she once used to audit financial statements to now audit the economic data in client files. She reviews discovery materials—from body-worn camera footage to grand jury minutes—with the eye of a forensic auditor, searching for factual discrepancies that support the firm’s litigation strategy. Furthermore, Kristina leverages her fluency in Russian to ensure that language barriers never compromise a client’s ability to communicate with their legal team.
Kristina holds a Juris Doctor from Pace University and graduated Cum Laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Beyond the office, she volunteers for the New York County Lawyers Association, assisting attorneys in administrative law appeals and criminal defense preparation. At Pain Injury Law, she provides the analytical backbone that allows the firm’s litigators to fight with confidence, ensuring that the economic reality of every client’s claim is fully and accurately documented.
Kristina Dudits is not yet admitted to the NYS Bar
